The E-RIHS Third Call for Access offers researchers from around the world free access to world-leading heritage science facilities, specialist expertise and digital resources across the E-RIHS infrastructure.
Through the E-RIHS Catalogue of Services, applicants can access cutting-edge scientific instrumentation, digital tools, scientific archives, collections and specialist expertise to support interdisciplinary research into cultural heritage.
Whether your research focuses on the analysis, history, conservation or preservation of heritage, the E-RIHS Call for Access provides opportunities to work with leading heritage science institutions across Europe.
Who can apply
The Third Call for Access is open to researchers, scientists, scholars and heritage professionals from EU Member States, Associated Countries and internationally.
Applications are assessed through an international peer-review process based on scientific excellence and the feasibility of the proposed research.

Before submitting your proposal, carefully review the description of each service in the E-RIHS Catalogue of Services to ensure it is suitable for your research objectives.
If you have questions about a specific service, we recommend contacting the relevant Service Manager listed on the Access Provider service page before submitting your application.
