Transform your heritage science research
The Heritage Science Data Service delivers core digital research services for RICHeS, enabling the heritage science community to create, manage and use high-quality data.
The HSDS Grants Programme invests in projects that enhance datasets, tools and digital research capabilities for the heritage science community. Grants are available under two complementary themes.
Funding themes
Theme 1: Generate Datasets
- Enable or Enhance Access to Heritage Science and Conservation Resources
- Funding available: up to £25,000
Theme 2: Develop Virtual Research Environments
- Collaborate with STFC Hartree Centre’s software engineering experts to develop Virtual Research Environments
- Funding available: up to £15,000

- Eligibility: UK universities, museums, archives, galleries, community partners and UKRI Independent Research Organisations (IROs)
